About Tricia Small

Trish has been an AFF Instructor for just over 6 years and provides a 'much needed' womens perspective to our AFF operation...

I live in the beautiful state of VT. After making my 1st tandem many years ago, I knew skydiving would be a big part of my life. The excitement, freedom and the people I met were amazing. Starting and still continuing this adventure with my best friend at the time, now my fiance' makes it all the better. I am passionate about many things, but most importantly, my family and the people I share my life with.

When was your first skydive experience: 1st jump was a tandem at Airborne Adventures in Northampton, MA (no longer In business) in 1992, then saved $$ for the next year and a half to go through a full training program (tandem/IAD progression) in 1994, been jumping since.

What do you love best about skydiving/Jumptown: I love the freedom and being in the moment of skydiving and all the great people I've met along the way. I love being an instructor at Jumptown. We have a great team that I'm both glad and proud to be a part of. I consider the people at Jumptown my second family. I love teaching students, watching them progress to become licensed jumpers, including coaches and instructors themselves. It's wonderful to share in their excitement and love of flight in a sport that I love and has been such a large part of my life for more than 25 years.

What are your hobbies/Interest: skydiving!!!

Experienced Skydivers Welcome!

I was understandably nervous prior to arriving and left wanting to turn this one time bucket list experience into a hobby!
