About Fred Olsen

Fred is a solid all-round skydiver. As well as being a current AFF,Tandem and Static line Instructor. He is also a member of 'Luau Confusion', an open competitive 4-way RW team. Fred is awesome.

Where are you from: Central Maine

When was your first skydive: A static line jump from 2,900' in 1983 with my then girlfriend, now wife of 34 years.

How long have you been skydiving: Started seriously skydiving with my family in 2009 after spending three years going to the tunnel with my under age son. Once he turned 18 we did the four-day AFF camp all together. The feeling of family and excitement and still getting nervous no matter how many jumps I do.

What do you love best about skydiving/Jumptown:

What are your hobbies/interests: Flying, SCUBA, shooting Attended USPA skydiving national championships in 2013 and 2015 and competed in 4-way formation skydiving.
